What do you get if you mix a Fleetwood Macs groove, Jann Ardens cool way of being and Shawn Colvins soft voice? The answer is Janet Martin. And yes I know that I compare her with three world class and famous artists/bands but I just wanna explain Janets soundshe is good! The album is very well produced by Adrian and Bruce Olsen (The Olsens) and there are some really cool tracks on the album like the first one out "Purple Sunrise" and the "Shawn Colvin-esque" "Under The Radar" and the beautiful "7th Story High". A pleasant album from a singer-songwriter whos released seven albums to date; I warmly recommend Passage.
